Do investors have advantages in today's market vs the 2008 crash?

Just curious to hear your opinions on any advantages we as investors may get to enjoy in this current market that we did not have in 2008, or vice versa- things that have since become more difficult or restrictive since the crash

The recession of a decade ago was particurly bad because the capital markets froze. It was extremely difficult to borrow. Underwriting guidelines were extremely tight. Even people with good credit and their own capital had a hugely hard time borrowing during the housing collapse.

Today we have perhaps 2nd only to the housing boom of the early 2000s, the easiest access to capital in modern financial history.
