Buying property with “bonus” unit
Hi
about to wrap up a deal on a property with an ahem, bonus unit In the basement.
As I understand it, so long as the stove is removed and the gas line capped, there shouldn’t be an issue with the bank okaying the deal.
Has this been anyone’s experience? I’m in NY where an extra unit with kitchen and bathroom is fairly common. Thanks
