Looking to purchase in Orlando, anyone have any information they can give me on Lake Nona. I believe it would be a good buy and hold since locals said that is a “good” area.

@Fab Ragh Lake Nona is a really great area and is growing. That being said the price points there may make it challenging to cashflow positive if you are using leverage. I think it is a great growth market. Feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss the area more.

Too expensive to make sense for me on any multi-family deal.

I agree with Zachaty & Tyler.  Way, way too expensive.  It's many years since you could get in anything reasonably in that area to.even do a long term buy and hold.  I was looking at that area close to 15 years back when it was still reasonable.  I have a number of friends and co-workers who did buy in the area since my office is nearby.

Hi @Fab Ragh What are you planning to do with the property? That will help determine how we can best help you. If it will be a primary residence or rental. Orlando has many great pockets depending on what your goals are and how you will use the property. Obviously, your budget will come into play here too.

Feel free to reach out, I am a full-time Realtor® and investor in Orlando and happy to answer some questions for you.

Hi Fab,

I currently live in Lake Nona (32827) and yes it is a great buy and hold area but really expensive. I don't know your budget but if you can afford it definitely buy. This area is booming so you will get great cash flow and equity. With that being said check out the surrounding area (32832) that border Lake Nona, especially Dowden Road. A lot of new construction going on off Dowden. I currently own two properties in that area. One is in Randal Park and the other in East Park. Also St. Cloud, FL is a great place to buy.

St. Cloud is benefitting from the growth of Lake Nona. Homes are cheaper so people are flocking to that area. Also, new communities are being built on South Narcoossee Rd going towards St. Cloud. Check out the Isles of Lake Nona by Pulte Homes.
