Insurance Cost/Door - Florida Apartments

Hello fellow investors! My investment team is considering an apartment complex in the Fort. Lauderdale area, FL. About 300 units.

We were told that the property insurance and general liability insurance would be about $500/door. But we're hearing from fellow investors the price is more like $800/door.

Does anyone have any experience with recent pricing for this? This is a newer apartment complex, good quality construction.

Thanks for the help!

Ask a local property manager for a large apartment complex. They should be able to confirm (within reason) a cost/door.

Thanks Joseph...I tried that but they were not very helpful. But I appreciate your advice!
