Bay Area / NorCal multi-family investing

Melissa Marques
Posted

Hey everyone!

I'm gearing up start looking to purchase a 2-4plex with an FHA loan to house hack.

I am open to anywhere in the Bay Area / outer Bay Area so long as it’s good investment.

Any suggestions On specific areas and what not would be much appreciated! Thank you so much!!

@Melissa Marques When you get pre-approved with your FHA Loan make sure you tell them you are looking for a duplex/triplex/fourplex. They will usually approve you for a higher amount as compared to the default standard amount they would approve you for if it's a Single Family Home. You should also work with Realtor that has househacked here in the Bay Area as well as one that owns multifamily properties and rentals here in the Bay Area :-)
