Short sale signed contract then seller voids

This is an interesting story I had an executed contract with a seller for a short sale. What I have since learned was the seller has not defaulted on loan but no longer wants the property so she was trying to sell it and have bank forgive the debt. The bank will not allow her to sell it as a short sale (she must come to closing to cover amount) I assume since there was a short sale addendum to the contract I am out of luck . Thanks
