What would you look for if you were investing in a syndication?

I am planning for the future here but what would you guys look for when investing in a syndication. More specifically, a brand new one with no previous funding or results.

Questions I would ask would be...

  • Who are the other partners?
  • What is the experience of the other team members?
  • What is the advantage, the hook, the reason I would choose a less experienced team?
  • What is the market?
  • How well does the team know the market?
  • How well do I know the team?
  • Do I trust them?
