When It Comes to Lending—Do You Value Speed or Lower Rates More

Posted

Hi BP community,

I’ve been noticing that some investors don’t mind paying a little more in interest if it means they can close quickly and secure the deal. Others are more patient, preferring to wait for the lower-cost option.

Which camp do you fall into? Is speed the top priority, or is cost always king for you?

For me, it really depends on the deal. If the numbers work long-term, I don’t mind paying a little extra upfront to move fast. But if it’s a thinner-margin deal, I’m a lot more cautious about cost.
