This link was buried in one of our threads and I felt it was something that everyone could benefit from drastically after reading through the information. Special thanks go out to Vikram for sharing this:

BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY INC.SHAREHOLDER LETTERS

I finally got off the pine and read through 1981 today and learned a tremendous amount. My plan is to read one or two of these per day going forward. You will not be disappointed if you do the same!

Enjoy!

Good post. Those letters are great reading and free on the Berkshire website as you pointed out.

A really good compilation of Buffett's letters was organized by Lawrence Cunningham and is called "The Essays of Warren Buffett: Lesson for Corporate America". Cunningham does a great job taking all of Buffett's letters and arranging the letters by topic. I've heard Buffett recommend this book. It's about $25, but I would recommend it as the basic principals that Buffett teaches are applicable to any kind of investing. I think the most important lesson is "Margin of Safety".
