Advice for a Newbie Who Wants to Get Started

Zach Larimore

Posted

I am a college student who is interested in becoming a full time real estate investor post graduation.

I have been interested in REI for a couple of years and feel that I have learned a lot but not yet comfortable enough to buy my first deal.

Any advise on what I can be doing now to learn more with an intentional mindset so I can build the confidence I need to buy my first deal. At what point do I know, I know enough to be able to purchase my first deal. What is the best advise you have for a young person wanting to become a full time investor?

Hey @Zach Larimore

Congrats to you for your ambition! I am willing to help you out with some advice or even chat on the phone if you wish. But I recommend you read this article I wrote for Bigger Pockets titled How to Invest in Real Estate Before Turning 21. It says "21" but it's got some great stuff for someone young who's looking to start investing soon. Once you've read it, let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions. Best of luck and hope to chat soon!
