While not the most prolific poster, I've been here since 2009 and just earned my 1000th vote. Hooray for me. Ha.
My goal was to get to 1000 legitimate votes before my 1000th post and I just missed that by a few. Still time to catch up, I guess.
To me, votes are a measure that someone got something out of your post.
