Does borrowing your full HELOC amount lower your credit score?

Has anybody used their entire HELOC allotment toward a property purchase? If so, did maxing out a line of credit tank your credit score just like maxing out a credit card could? I have 4 properties now so I rely on DSCR loans since my debt to income is toast, so I've gotta keep my credit score above 750 to keep getting those loans but I'd like to use a big ol HELOC to help with a down payment on the next property. Thanks y'all! -Ryan

I'm not 100% on a HELOC as I've only ever used larger lines of credit but not HELOC and what I've found is that the only time "utilization " matters is with credit cards.
