Seller Financing Help
Because I'd rather not use all my capital on just acquiring properties, I've been searching for sellers willing to do seller financing. I have a couple of leads, but before I get anymore involved I have a couple of questions I want to clear up.
-If I did a deal with 5 year terms and a balloon payment afterwords, would I get a regular mortgage or commercial/portfolio loan still needing 25% down for whatever is left that I owe
-If preserving capital is what I'm looking to do, would it be better if I just start with a portfolio loan and just have the seller finance the down payment rather than doing a 5 year loan with them and finding long term financing after?
