Hello, I am currently looking for recommendations for a RE attorney that deals with sub2 contracts in Lancaster, PA. Any recommendations?
@Joseph Kline I would suggest getting with someone local to you for this answer.
- Post in the Bigger Pockets STATE forum that you are looking in. There are usually some good, local investors that monitor those forums. Maybe they already have a suggestion or recommendation for you? Certainly try there.
- Visit your local REI groups. There are many groups that meet across the country. Some post here on Bigger Pockets. Many post on meetup.com. Networking is always a great practice and you never know who you might meet there and what good information they have to share. Would certainly recommend visiting if one is close to you.
Hope this helps!
@Andrew Postell Thats a great suggestion. Thanks!
Hi @Joseph Kline I am also looking for one in Lancaster, would you share if you were able to find one?
@Diego Briceno yes we ended up using Smoker Gard associates in new Holland. If you mention my business partners name Mathieu (Ma2) Gascon he was more of the person in contact with them. Very pain free and knowledgeable.
Terrific @Joseph Kline , i'll give them a call and mention your Business Partner, we are doing a few deals and a Rent to own in Lancaster.
@Diego Briceno that’s awesome! Congratulations! If you need a great property manager you can’t go wrong with Austin Mountain at peaceful homes property management.
@Joseph Kline call around to some title offices and ask if they are willing. If they are not, ask for recommendations for attorney title fee offices and check with those. Usually, small lawyer practices that do title work are willing to do them. Whoever you go with, make sure that it is not their first rodeo as you really need to CYA on these types of transactions.
@Stephen Stokes thank you for the reply. Luckily we closed on this about about a year and a half ago. Kept it on sub2 for a little over a year and then refi'd into a 30 year through the LLC
