First Military, then future investor

The VA loan! I understand it is now unlimited to families of military but what about using the VA loan to buy rental properties. I spoke with my realtor that sold me my current home I'm living in and she said she wasn't sure if we can use it! Looking for answers from all you great, people experienced investors. ( I am currently active duty) if that changes anything

Hey Sean, you cannot use your VA loan to buy a rental property. You can however use a VA loan to buy a primary residence to live in, then rent out when you move.
