Property Tax Appeal?
I received property tax notifications for 2 out of my 3 properties in Fulton County, GA showing sharp increases in annual property taxes (one was a 50% increase the other almost double). I'm considering appealing it, but not really sure how to? I guess 1) has anyone have any experience successfully appealing and 2) if so, what was the general angle / strategy of justifying the appeal? Thanks!

Some like to appeal their own taxes. That takes a lot of time and effort. I like to leave it to the professionals.
You should be able to find a tax appeal company in the area of your rent properties. Hire them. They have the tools and contacts to do the job right. Typically they charge you a percentage of taxes saved so it always works in your benefit. Some companies you can hire indefinitely. Each year they will look at your new assessment and decided if they think they can get it down or not.
I preferred to have my tax-fighting on auto-pilot and knew it was a good thing when I got a bill for winning a case.
