I am also looking for experience property managers, mortgage brokers and real estate brokers as well. Hope anybody can help me out to find good people and good connection to start. Email or phone nos. to call or any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
Welcome to BP! Glad ur on here....get plugged in by following the Forums...reading the posts, blogs, podcasts, etc. Its free information at your fingertips. Start networking and getting to know people. This will help you with setting up your team to get deals done and get going. I recommend becoming a "Pro" member and setting up keyword alerts so that you get notified whenever a topic comes up that includes that keyword you set up (comes in handy for investing in certain locations etc). There is a lot more but i know you will hear from others on their advice!
Hi Bryan, thanks for the message. Yup trying to find good team to work with US markets. Lots of very good info in this web site and needs a lot of reading and flipping pages. Very excited and happy I found this network of good people and with good advice.
You might connect with Amanda Han she is a real estate CPA and an investor active on BP.
Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find mortgage brokers etc. here/ You can Google to locate them and go to meetup.com
Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook
To find a property manager go to IREM.org search for ARM certified property managers. Call 5 ask them what they see expenses running per category per unit. What do they see them selling for per unit, what is the market occupancy rate. What are the market rents? Ask them if they know anything coming up for sale. Great way to pick up some good info and possibly a deal.
You can also search NARPM.org for the RMP (Residential Management Professional) and MPM (Master Property Manager) certified.
