Salt Lake City Real Estate CPA Recommendations

I'd like to see a list of your favorite CPA's that specializes in Real Estate in the Salt Lake City area.

I've had a hard time locating a quality CPA, that brainstorms with clients, thinks outside the box, and completely understands the ins and outs of Real Estate.

Thanks!

I'm in the market for a solid SLC RE CPA myself, thanks for starting this thread.

When it comes to real estate, you need a CPA that is real estate savvy. The knowledge is very niche, so you want a CPA that both invests in real estate and has a practice that primarily focuses on real estate investors/businesses. A CPA who has a large variety of clients and dabbles in real estate is simply not good enough for the high quality, top tier advice that investors need. And believe me, I can tell when a new client took advice from a CPA who doesn't understand real estate - it becomes plainfully obvious while reviewing prior returns.

This means that you may not be able to pick up a local accountant, and that's okay. Today's technology enables us to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients literally all over the globe. So don't be afraid to reach out to a few CPAs here on BP, even if the are hundreds or thousands of miles away from you.

If you are set on using someone local, contact your state board and ask for a referral. They are usually more than happy to help.

they are a law firm, but they also have CPA's in the house and Real Estate Investing is their specialty. He is part of a community of investors and the majority of his clients are all investors

Any luck finding a CPA in the Salt Lake area who specialized in Real Estate?
