One of my client's spouse has lost the real estate trust document of a inherited property and the spouse is now diseased before the property was transferred to the diseased spouse, how do we find a copy of the trust document? Or what do we do now to transfer the property to my client?

First step might be a title search. The trust document and a trustee's deed may have been recorded which can help restore the paper trail.

Dunno 'bout CA, but may be a place to start.
