Brother in law as disqualified party?
My brother in law wants to use is self directed IRA to invest in our 506(b) private equity fund. His custodian, Equity Trust says that because I'm a 33% managing member of the fund, that I am a disqualified party. This seems to be hogwash. Any thoughts?
