Can I loan my LLC money?

Suppose our rehab needed more money to finish a project. Maybe the windows were more pricey than expected and a structural support wasn't anticipated in the 100 year old house. Suppose that the project is owned and funded, in part, by my self-directed IRA. Could I loan money from the same self-directed IRA to the LLC that is doing the rehab project, to get the project done? Uncle Sam may be watching.
