Quickbooks Online Plus

Hi BP fam,

I've finally decided to go to quickbooks online plus...thanks to being a student and getting one year free, and saw the contractor tab. When I clicked on it, it asked for contractors name and email stating it would send email to contractor to update profile. I later read it would send 1099 at the end of the year. For those using quickbooks, do you guys use the contractor tab? If not, how do you name that expense?
