Seller is Being Sued

Hi BP!

Legal question... if a buyer wants to purchase a property that had tenants beforehand (it’s no longer occupied), and the seller was sued by one the former tenants and the case is still on-going, does the new buyer assume that suit? Or does it remain with the seller? Thanks BP!
