Brendan Turner's "Multifamily Plan" in 2024
Hi - I am a college senior who stumbled across Brandon Turner's "Rental Property" Investment book earlier this year. The entire book, but in particular, his 4 example plans, caught my eye. His first plan, where you can purchase a property worth $100,000 for $80,000 and 20% down, makes a lot of sense on the surface but after looking around these properties seem very difficult to find. I know property prices have increased since 2015 and Brandon is using Idealized numbers, that being said, (adjusting for inflation), are properties like these still to be found?
Would anyone have any recommendations on potential markets that fulfill the requirements? In Canada? In the U.S.?
