Rookie looking for mentor
Hello, my name is Joseph and I’m am an aspiring investor looking to purchase my first rental property in 2025. I live in the sf Bay Area but am looking to invest in the sacramento area and was hoping to talk to someone who has done this and could share some knowledge. Any help or advice is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Welcome to BP man! You're in the right place. I grew up just north of San Francisco and moved to Reno, NV to live and invest.
Always recommend house hacking to start out. I've done it twice here in Reno and it's completely changed my life.
There are some great agents/investors in here who specialize in Sacramento who I'm sure will see this post.
