Hello everyone, My name is Christopher Leo and I am looking to get started in real estate investing.  I currently live in Staten Island, NY, I am looking to get into the local NY and NJ restate investing market. looking  for someone to show me the ins and outs of the game.  If anyone can lend me there time or some tips that would be great.  Very excited to get started!!!!

Hey Christopher, welcome to BP.

As Eric mentioned above, definitely start with the podcasts. blogs and pick up some books.

If I can give you an early tip, never ask for a mentor or someone to lend you time. Put in the work, the hours, the hustle, find the people who are doing what you want to do in your area and see how you can add value to them. Mentors have limited time and they're only going to invest it in those who are truly committed.
