Newbie investor looking for mentor

Hello bigger pockets members,

My name is Chris and I am a new Pro member with no Real Estate investing experience. I am looking for a mentor in the Jersey City, Hoboken,union city, area who can show me how to find deals and fund them. In return I will help you out as much as I can with everyday chores (calls, direct mail, data entry, emails, etc). I also have a little money of my own to out into a deal.

Hi @Christopher Leo, welcome to BP! The best place to meet meet local investors and possible mentors would be the local REI meet up groups. You can go onto BP, Meetup.com, and eventbrite to find local meet ups. There are all types of investors that attend these and it is a great place to network. Most if not all of the ones you will find on there have people of all experience levels attending.
