I want to raise the rent on a apt that is in rent control, does anyone know the calculation

I'm not in an area with rent control, but am answering because it has been 3 days and no one from CA has chimed in.  Personally I always go right to the state law to see what it says. If you have a rent control law, it will define the parameters you need to stay within.
