Rent out the home and the garage adu - problems finding tenants?

I'm thinking that for my next home I will convert the garage into an ADU. But when I move out of that home will I have problems finding a family to rent out the home unit? I would prefer to rent to a family over renting out the home unit's rooms to single people. But would families be turned off by the fact that there is a tenant living in the garage adu?

Be very open and clear about it in the marketing. Some people won't like it, but others won't care. As long as you are open about the adjoining unit, parking, shared common space, noise, and any other issues, it will be fine.

Thanks for the input.  I will be very clear.
