Fridge Out
The fridge has stopped working at one of my units. As landlord am I liable for the contents? The tenant is pushing for payment.

No. They should have taken action to protect their stuff. Such as putting it in a cooler with ice, taking it to friends or eating it. If the electricity went out it would be the same. The electric company doesn't pay for spoiled food.
You should, however, get a replacement in there ASAP.
