Rent control, getting tenants to leave in Bergen County, NJ

Hi, I'm looking at a 3 family home in Bergen County, NJ that doesn't require much in repairs ($5000 or less).

The strategy here is to buy the place and increase the rents.  Currently the tenants are renting month-to-month for about $900 to $1000, whereas, I should be able to get $1200 for each unit, since they are all 2 br, 1 bth.

My questions are:

1) How can I find out if there are rent control laws for the place?

2) If they are unhappy with the rent increase but give me a hard time vacating the unit, how difficult will it be to get tenants to leave?

Thanks for your help!
