Things you find in air vents

Hello everyone thought I'd drop a quick story about air vents. Anyway my tenants at one of my properties were telling me that the air flow in one of the rooms is very bad. So I finally get to it and took my sister's boyfriend who has experience in HVAC.

Long story short we check to make sure everything is open in the basement where the unit is located. We then check the room with the airflow problems. We pop off the register and what do we find, BABY DIAPERS AND BABY PJS blocking the airflow, which my sister's boyfriend was able to get out.

This does not include the plastic cup with spoons inside of it and other stuff still inside. Now you must know that this stuff was between a good 4-8 feet down.

The worst part I have no clue who did, maybe it was the tenants I evicted or maybe it was there when I purchased the house originally.

Lesson learned always keep your guard up. Rant off and good day to you.

I have a similar airflow issue, but I haven't had time to see if there's anything far down in the duct.

After reading this, I'm not sure I want to look :)

I found condom wrappers in a vent in our last vacant rental. Talk about gross...

I guess the tenants were too lazy to walk over to the bathroom.
