I hope everyone is having an awesome and productive Sunday!
From your experience, what type of flooring do renters prefer in bedrooms? Carpet? Laminate? Others?
Curious to see everyone's opinion as I look to do some upgrades.
I carry laminate through all living area and bedrooms because of the durability. The look is also excellent and tenants seem to really like it.
If you want to upgrade something, choose something that is not subject to wear and tear, like granite counter tops.
The flooring found in many rentals in your area is what tenants expect. Go see other rentals. Don't spend more.
I go with wood looking luxury vinyl planks. It's more than Carpet but much more durable and will save money over Long term
Most renters hate carpet, I use laminate wood flooring @ .89¢ per sq ft. Mostly lasts 5-8 years or more
Thanks for the input, everyone. I'm trying to consider all factors - appearance, renters preference, price, durability, etc. Your opinions will surely help me in making a decision.
