Some state define a single storage unit differently than a mini storage facility. The laws are different also.
It's time to read up on your storage laws and update your lease.
As a side note, I like the idea of renting my storage areas to people who don't live in my rentals. That keeps my option to lock out from getting confused with landlord tenant laws.
