If tenant doesn't move out and new tenant ready to move in
Hi, I have a tenant living on month-to-month basis, I gave them two months notice, it's ending on Feb end, I found new tenant who is ready to move in on March 1st.
Now, today current tenant told me that they got some issue with their new rental property they want some more days, I told them that we found new tenants and they have to come on March 1st.
My new tenant can not continue with his current rental after due date.
What to do in this situation?

@Raj G. check your landlord tenant laws, in most areas they would be considered a holdover tenant and are liable for double damages/rent. Once you find out you could use this as a scare tactic for the existing tenant
