Bedbug Addendum in California

Beginning July 1, 2017 a bedbug Addendum is required for all new move-ins. Beginning January 1, 2018 I must give all existing tenants the Information About Bed Bugs. What I'm not understanding is if existing tenants will be required to sign an Addendum or if I just hand them the info sheet and I'm done.
