Newbie looking at Cleveland

Hello,

I'm potentially looking at the Cleveland market and I'm seeing people talk about municipal code violations from the city for snow removal and unmowed lawns. Is it common for the landlord to have to pay for snow removal and landscape maintenance with SFR and duplex type properties in Cleveland? I just want to make sure I have all the costs to properly analyze the deal. Thank you!

    Hi @Frank Perkins,

For my duplexes and single family in Euclid, Ohio my tenants take care of the landscaping and snow removal.  My property manager includes that in the lease too.  Yes, the cities are proactive in making sure your property looks good and keeps up property values.  I really appreciate they do so!!
