And all . . as you buy vacant houses or rental houses in Kansas City Missouri, be sure to remember to register with the city - right now that is free and there is no inspection.  If you don't register they have fines for you to pay.

The city is also looking at following several other Missouri cities in requiring a business license to hold rentals and have some sort of inspection policy - we got it pushed so it will not be on the November 7th Ballot, but we see it coming back around in the Spring.

Missouri Property Owners Association = a group of associations and concerned citizens are working to change state law so that a blanket inspection policy cannot be 100% enforced without the consent of the tenant.
