Illinois tenants laws

Hi All, I may be buying a property in Illinois. Do you landlords have a hard time evicting tenants in Illinois (for reasonable grounds of course like non payment and not following the lease and rules) from your experience? Or do you have a hard time with tenant-friendly laws in Illinois? Thank you, Gulliver

Outside of cook county I would say Illinois is Landlord Friendly. Anywhere inside Cook County and Chicago is Tenant Friendly. If investing in Illinois you should join Illinois REIA. If investing in the Chicago area join Jane Garvey's group The Chicago Creative Investors Association which meets in Lombard.
