Carpet vs laminate flooting

Scott Dirksen
Posted

I just had a tenant move out and I have carpeting in 2 bedrooms that needs to be replace. Is it better to keep replacing carpet or put something that looks like hardwood flooring. I would think the flooring would last longer and maybe ultimately cheaper?

Without a doubt, I would put an LVP/LVT (luxury vinyl plank/tile) product in.  Way more durable, will certainly save you money in replacement costs, not to mention in lost time between tenants, and I would also argue could attract a higher quality tenant!
