Hi Everyone, I'm just getting started and I am looking for a good attorney in the Richmond area. Specifically, I want an attorney that is open to working with new REIs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
@Miguel Rodas I've been on the search too, so interested in what other people are saying. After combing through the forums, I've seen others recommend Sean Tluchak as an attorney. Through networking, I've also come across Lingle Law, Page Allen, and Alex Simon as attorneys that have real estate experience. I haven't personally worked with any of them but for me it's where I plan to start my search and do my due diligence
Sean Tluchak is a great Richmond, VA attorney guys
@Miguel Rodas hi we really like Hayward Taylor @ Taylor, Taylor & Taylor. A great RE lawyer & a family run business right off Nuckols Rd
@Miguel Rodas other REI I have worked with have used Sonny Hughes and like him. I haven't worked with him personally but heard he's knowledgeable
@Tom Hacku I will definitely check them out. Additionally, your right, doing due diligence before hand is very important. I appreciate the info!
@Gabrielle E. Hi Gabrielle, thanks for the input! I will certainly check them out. How long have you been working with them?
@Sarah Stamper Hi Sarah! Thanks for the feedback. I will for sure look in to them. How long have you been working with
Taylor, Taylor & Taylor?
@Miguel Rodas since I moved to Richmond in 2016. He was refered to me by a friend that has been working in REI in Richmond for over 15yrs.
@Miguel Rodas I've used Sean Tluchak in the past for about 50+ REO closings and really had a great experience with his office. I use Harvey & Associates (they have an office in Richmond and Hanover) and love the real estate investing knowledge of their whole staff.
I really like Gordon, Dodson, Gordon,& Rowlett.
I have used them for 30 years and 50- 70 real estate transactions.
@Sarah Stamper Sarah, Thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely look into him.
@Amy H. Hi Amy! I have actually heard of them before, it's good to hear someone on BP has used them as well. Thanks for the input!
@John Beasley Hi John, good to know, I will look into them. Are you still investing in the Richmond area?
