Security cameras - wifi?

Cameron Pierce
Posted

Hello. I bought my first 3Flat property and need advice on security cameras. Do they all require wifi? If so do i pay for additional wifi for the security cameras? Should I have a security room for these things?

I have hardwired cameras that get power over the ethernet cable. These are much more reliable and their are no batteries to have to deal with.

I use Digital Watchdog cameras and software.

if you want to view any camera remotely you'll need an internet connection.
