Washer/dryer connections Section 8

I had thought about relocating the washer dryer to an enclosed back porch (in NC so not too concerned about freezing) but after thinking about it the cost and labor could easily be a few hundred dollars and a couple days of my labor.  Not sure it is worth it.  I’m not convinced that providing a washer/dryer connection will put any more rental income in my pocket and the home has other desirable features so I’m not worried that the lack of connections will be a deal breaker for a prospective tenant

Thoughts? Experience with Section 8 properties not having these?

It is your sole discretion. Of course it will add value and renters will be attracted to it but honestly it's all up to you.

It's entirely your decision but I would take a look at the surrounding houses, your competition, do they have laundry hook-up? That's the info I would base my decision on.
