Investment Property: Buying a investment property but worried,any

I  want to buy an Investment at Conroe, Texas but I am worried I may not get a tenant to rent it fast because the location is a new site and just developing, I drove down there this weekend and i didn't see a lot of apartments or rental home. Any advise please

If this is new construction, that I not a good deal for rental in most cases. I would look for existing homes where you can pick up equity and cash flow. I will tell you that Conroe is a great place to invest. Many of my students are in that area.
