This meetup is a networking event for anyone living in (or visiting!) Toronto who invests in real estate anywhere in the US. This is a regular event, usually once per month on the 2nd Monday. No pitching or selling, just a venue to share experiences and resources for those of us actively investing in the US. Anyone interested in learning more about investing in US real estate is also welcome, of course.

7:15 - 7:30 Quick Introductions
7:30 - 7:45 Analyzing deals (sharing lessons learned)
7:45 - 8:00 The Real Deal (This month: to be determined)
8:00 - 9:00+ Mingle / Discussion

Hi,
Unfortunately, we're not able to attend this month's meeting. Would very much appreciate your advice on if to incorporate a LLC, a SLLC or a C Corp for a Canadian resident buying tax lien, tax deed &/or redemption tax deed?

Hopefully you can make it out to the next meetup in January. Best to get professional advice (from a cross-border tax accountant and perhaps an attorney) on what would work best for your personal situation and investment goals.
Occasionally we have cross-border accountants who attend the meetup so that's always helpful.
