We have a special virtual edition of the meetup this month - the login details follow the description of our special guest presenter below. Like last month, this meetup will also feature a series of fun 15 minute virtual networking sessions after the presentation where I will break the participants into smaller breakout rooms (around 4 people/room) and rotate the room participants every 15 minutes. Chad Urbshott has many years’ experience in real estate from designing buildings as an engineer to investing for the last 13 years in single family homes, commercial land, multi-unit student apartments and “distressed” residential mortgage loans (notes). Chad runs a real estate investment firm that specializes in “distressed” note investing.

In this presentation Mark and Sarosh will talk about how they have up-leveled quickly through finding, negotiating and securing a portfolio of 25 homes in Cleveland OH. People will learn about lessons learned in skillful negotiations and insights gained through the process of working with a very experienced mentor and coach. They will share with the group how working on a 10x scale and on a different level has pushed them beyond their comfort zone but into their dream life zone much faster. Key takeaways that people will learn will be about a recession-proof niche that very few people know about, with a huge pent-up and growing demand and very little supply. The audience will come away feeling energized, empowered and ready to profit from a great cash flowing model while helping people in need with affordable housing in a massively growing market.

Sarosh Anwar immigrated to Canada alone in 2007 driving across the border in a rental car and landing on a friend’s couch for a few months. She bought her first no-money-down Toronto triplex from the Hell’s Angels 2 weeks after her border crossing. Fast-forward 3 years after immigrating, she had built her own business amassing a rental property portfolio worth over $2.7 million built on inspired hustle, strategy and self-belief—all while also working in the non-profit sector earning peanuts! Sarosh is a versatile and dynamic leader with 13 successful years in real estate investing as well as a rewarding and impactful career in government and social services. After owning and managing 48 doors in the GTA, she became interested in the US market and in remote real estate investing and is currently active in Cleveland OH. Her new focus is on affordable housing markets and the high cash-flow niche of group homes.

Mark Kerwin is a fun, passionate and creative speaker, author, coach and mentor with 13 successful years in real estate investing and over 35 years doing meditation instruction. He loves to help real estate investors with wellness design and meditation so that the wealth-building adventure is balanced with peace and fulfilment. Mark has had success and experience in all aspects of real estate investing in residential markets, and he will be licensed as a real estate sales representative this summer. His time spent helping people coming out of prison with a social enterprise helped him find his purpose to help the underserved with affordable housing.

Mark and Sarosh are the co-founders of CAN-USA Investment Group and www.AllAboutFreedom.Club, a website dedicated to liberating people's energy and time through real estate investing.

Hi Barrie Ontario investors - would you have an agent you could recommend to me? Someone specializing in SFH / residential that would ideally have both rental and flip experience - or at least great sales/listing experience. A farm market on the north side of Barrie gets you bonus points. :)
