When using the "create an event" feature that only "Pros" can use - is there a way for the event organizer to see who has signed up after the 8th person (after 8 people sign up it starts saying "+1" or "+2" next to the pictures of the members that say they're going to attend).  The number isn't "clickable" to expand the list or show who else has signed up. That would be a really useful feature to have.

Hi @Nick Pastore, no problem - the weather is pretty stinky today, that's for sure.  I'm still planning to go since a good number of people signed up.

This meetup is a networking event for anyone living in (or visiting!) Toronto who invests in real estate anywhere in the US. This is a regular event, usually on the second or third Monday of every month with it on another day of the week every once in a while. No pitching or selling, just a venue to share experiences and resources for those of us actively investing in the US. Anyone interested in learning more about investing in US real estate is also welcome, of course.

I expect it will go from 6 until about 9. The location was chosen to be easily accessed from the subway (it's just a few minutes walk from Sheppard subway stop) and close proximity to the 401.

I just created my next event in Toronto - the biggerpockets team has added the Canadian provinces below the US states (in the "State" category) so they fixed the issue for events in Canada.  I'm not sure how others outside of the US and Canada can create events though.

One nuance that I found was it kept giving me an error and wouldn't let me post the event until I realized that the blank box next to the end time was to select a timezone (only North American timezones are listed).  After I chose a timezone it allowed me to post.

Yes, there's a number of Canadians investing in notes.  I don't personally do it but PM me and I'll let you know what I've heard and potentially put you in touch with some of those folks.
