Combining both sides of Duplex into one STR listing

Posted

Does anyone have experience listing both sides of a duplex together on Airbnb under one listing?

Currently have each side of the duplex listed individually -2 bed 1 bath for up to 5 guests.

I'm wondering if I could attract more potential guests by making a separate listing on Airbnb, offering to rent the whole duplex for groups of 8-10 people.  These large groups normally wouldn't see my two separate listing when searching for a house.   The units don't have a connecting door on the inside, however there is a large backyard, separated by a shared fence w/ 10ft gate allows the backyard to be shared.

Hey @Marc Boutler. Are you also listed on VRBO?

You should be able to create a third listing with both as an option. You will really need to keep up on the calendars to make sure you don't overbook.

I have heard of people doing this. Gives you more options to get your pace rented to a smaller or larger group.
