Do I need a business license to Run an Airbnb?

Hello! I am about to put an offer on a great house hack duplex that has been getting used as an airbnb and comes fully furnished. Do I need a business license in the state of California to run an airbnb? and if so what is the process to get that business started as well as how long it takes, how much it costs, and any associated yearly fees/ payments to keep that license. Depends on the City/County. Generally a Bus License is easy to get, you just go to the Govt Offices and fill out the form and pay a few bucks (less than $50 usually). If you use your own last name as a part of the Business name, you are good-to-go...if you use a completely different name (like ABC Rentals), you will have to also get a Fictitious License.
