Goodness!  And this is going to get really murky, because the owner claims that he had a long-term tenant, and that tenant was then doing the rental arbitrage deal.  

A real-estate investor accused of running an Airbnb was fined $180,000. He says his tenant is to blame for renting it out. (msn.com)

This should be a serious wakeup call for those looking to buy a STR in Las Vegas. We get a few posts a month about starting one up and this is great evidence that the city is really cracking down.

Plus the arbitrage thing...sneaky baaastaaads!
